ITRS has developed a monitoring solution for IBM MQ to allow operations staff to monitor the performance of their MQ infrastructure.

Example uses

• Ensure a queue has a regular message flow in and out and is not growing too close to its maximum configured size

• Ensure each queue has the requisite number of subscribers

• Ensure required connections between MQ servers are established and performing correctly

The interface provides:

• Details of channels connecting MQ servers, including type, protocol, status, remote destination, date send and receive rates, and last message send times

• Details of queues on an MQ server, including status, current and minimum queue depth and message times (put, get, oldest)
