This blog looks at leveraging security and control features, encrypted communications between Geneos components and Authentication policy, in conjunction with the Geneos Commands API. Given the power of Geneos commands, and the functionality they enable, locking down access to them is quite important. The Geneos Gateway has a REST API allows programmatic, automatic triggering of Geneos commands, which take remediating action in the monitoring environment. This API allows for some nice integrations and automation.
